We, as humans, occupy only a brief moment in time and are only able to view the vast expanse of this world from our singular set of eyes and solitary perspective, coloured by our personal experiences and associations. Nature is free of those constraints and just IS.
As an artist, knowing all this and appreciating that I will only be able to encapsulate brief snippets of Nature's enduring history, I aim to take those moments in front of me and translate them, along with the emotions they evoke within me, into paint on canvas. Full of movement and change. Sublime and somewhat veiled.

Art allows us to explore the questions we have about the world around us, and functions as a symbol of our human existence.
